Market research firm TrendForce released an industry report on September 7th, showing that in the second quarter of 2026, Samsung Electronics accounted for a 39.4% share of the global DRAM market in terms of revenue, further expanding its leading position amid the global AI boom. In that quarter, Samsung Electronics' DRAM revenue surged by 63.4% quarter-on-quarter, reaching USD 60.98 billion. SK Hynix and Micron ranked second and third, respectively, while ChangXin Memory Technologies ranked fourth, with the largest single-quarter revenue growth among the top five brand manufacturers.
