On May 10, 2026, Intel officially announced the discontinuation of subsequent development for consumer-grade gaming discrete graphics cards, including the flagship gaming card Arc B770, originally planned to compete with the RTX 4070/RX 7800 XT. The company cited 'lack of financial viability' as the reason for this move, shifting its strategic focus to the AI and professional workstation markets. The next-generation Xe3P architecture discrete graphics cards will only include the Crescent Island AI inference card and workstation models, excluding gaming graphics cards under the Arc brand. Although Intel has pledged to continue providing driver updates and technical support for existing Arc gaming graphics cards, ordinary gamers will not be able to anticipate new Intel gaming discrete graphics cards. However, notebook users can still obtain graphics performance through new CPUs equipped with Arc integrated graphics, while professional creators will become the primary target audience for its discrete GPUs.
