A report from Morgan Stanley reveals that executives from Micron Technology, during an investor conference, indicated that despite the company’s proactive measures to boost DRAM production, the new capacity is unlikely to be ready for shipment before the end of 2027. In the meantime, owing to a scarcity of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, the demand for DRAM is projected to surpass supply consistently through to 2027.
