According to SEMI's latest '300mm Fab Outlook' report, global spending on 300mm wafer equipment is projected to grow by 18% to reach $133 billion in 2026, and by an additional 14% to surpass $150 billion in 2027, hitting $151 billion. This growth is primarily driven by the sharp rise in demand for AI chips in data centers and edge devices, as well as sustained efforts in key regions to advance semiconductor self-sufficiency, build localized industrial ecosystems, and restructure supply chains.
