At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show, Qualcomm Technologies officially rolled out the newest member of its Snapdragon X series—the Snapdragon X2 Plus platform. This platform boasts high-speed performance, multi-day battery endurance, and integrated AI functions. It's designed to offer outstanding experiences to modern professionals, up-and-coming creators, and regular users alike, propelling the growth of the Windows 11 AI+ PC ecosystem.
The Snapdragon X2 Plus comes with a third-generation Oryon CPU. When compared to the previous generation, it provides up to a 35% boost in single-core performance while cutting power consumption by around 43%. It also incorporates a Hexagon NPU, which delivers 80 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of AI computing power. This marks a 78% increase over its predecessor. Moreover, the platform supports Wi-Fi 7 and offers optional 5G connectivity, catering to users' demands for seamless connection and enhanced security in mobile settings. Terminal products based on the Snapdragon X2 Plus are anticipated to hit the market in the first half of 2026.
