On December 24, market rumors surfaced indicating that NVIDIA had informed its Chinese clients of its intention to deliver H200 chips in mid-February 2026. The anticipated total shipment volume is projected to range from 5,000 to 10,000 module sets, translating to roughly 40,000 to 80,000 individual chips. In response to these rumors, NVIDIA clarified that the company is actively overseeing its supply chain operations. It emphasized that the sale of H200 chips to authorized Chinese customers will not compromise its global supply capabilities. This statement strongly suggests that the plan to introduce H200 chips to the Chinese market has been essentially confirmed. Furthermore, a well-informed source disclosed that NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, is scheduled to visit China in January 2026. The source also noted that the unit price for the H200 8-card module, as offered by NVIDIA to its distribution channels, stands at 1.4 million yuan, which is a premium over the price of the H20 model.
