On November 25, reports indicated that during its performance briefing, Jingsheng Co., Ltd. disclosed that the silicon semiconductor industry is on the verge of completing its destocking phase. Downstream chip producers, including Hua Hong Semiconductor, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), Yangtze Memory Technologies Co., Ltd. (YMTC), and ChangXin Memory Technologies, Inc. (CXMT), are vigorously expanding their production capacities. As these expansions reach fruition, the demand for materials is anticipated to increase steadily.

Meanwhile, the photovoltaic industry is undergoing a phase of anti-intensification adjustment. In contrast, the silicon carbide sector is witnessing the emergence of novel downstream applications. The advancement in 12-inch silicon carbide technology is poised to further propel demand growth. Presently, the demand for 8-inch silicon carbide is on an upward trajectory, with recent bulk orders secured for new crystal growth equipment.

Given the industry's resurgence, it is projected that the semiconductor silicon business will sustain a growth trend over the next one to two years.
