On November 18, CATL responded to investor inquiries regarding the production schedules and average pricing of its energy storage cells via its interactive platform. The company stated that the current market demand for energy storage cells is exceptionally strong, with its production facilities operating at full capacity. In fact, some orders have been scheduled as far ahead as 2026. Furthermore, during the June-July period of 2025, the average price of 280Ah/314Ah cells saw a rebound, reaching 0.295 yuan per watt-hour (Wh). It is particularly noteworthy that CATL's average price for energy storage cells in the second quarter climbed to 0.52 yuan/Wh, a testament to the premium market positioning and competitive edge of its high-end products.
