Tachyum has just introduced its cutting-edge 2nm chip tailored for the Prodigy platform. This new chip is designed to incorporate as many as 1024 cores, run at speeds of up to 6.0GHz, and be compatible with ultra-fast DDR5 memory. According to Tachyum, the AI rack performance of the Prodigy Ultimate model is an impressive 21.3 times greater than that of the NVIDIA Rubin Ultra NVL576. Meanwhile, the AI rack performance of the Prodigy Premium surpasses that of the Vera Rubin 144 by a factor of 25.8. In terms of overall performance, it even outshines NVIDIA's Rubin Ultra platform, which is slated for release in 2027. Presently, the chip is in the final stages of preparation for tape-out.
