On the 5th, SK Hynix made public that it had finalized price and quantity negotiations with Nvidia concerning the provision of HBM4 memory for the year 2026. Insider sources revealed that the price tag attached to HBM4 is over 50% steeper than that of its forerunner, HBM3E, with each unit costing around $560 (translating to roughly 800,000 Korean won), thereby surpassing industry forecasts by more than 10%.
