In October 2025, the Longgang Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Ecosystem Promotion Center was officially established in Longgang District, Shenzhen. The center focuses on two key areas: semiconductors and integrated circuits, as well as operating systems. It is responsible for ecosystem construction and industrial development, while also providing support for the construction of Shenzhen Luoshan Science and Technology Park and the 'Hongmeng District'. The semiconductor and integrated circuit industry in Longgang District boasts a solid foundation and a complete industrial chain. In 2024, its output value reached RMB 113.1 billion, accounting for approximately 40% of the city's total. The district is home to a number of leading enterprises in the industry, including Xin Kailai and Fangzheng Micro.
