On October 15, 2025, during the OCP Global Summit, Intel made a significant announcement—it unveiled its inaugural graphics card built on the Xe3P architecture. Dubbed "Crescent Island," this graphics card is specifically tailored to excel in AI inference tasks. In terms of hardware specifications, it boasts an impressive 160GB of LPDDR5X memory. From a design perspective, it adopts an air-cooled approach. This thoughtful design enables it to strike a perfect balance: on one hand, it can accommodate large-capacity data storage; on the other hand, it meets the high-bandwidth demands. Moreover, it achieves this while keeping power consumption and costs at a relatively low level. As for the market rollout, samples of this graphics card are projected to reach customers in the latter half of 2026.
