Storage solutions provider SanDisk has revealed that, effective from September 5, 2025, it will institute a 10% price increase on all products sold through channel partners and directly to consumers. All new orders will be processed at these updated rates. The range of products subject to this price adjustment encompasses solid-state drives (SSDs), USB drives (commonly referred to as flash drives), memory cards, and additional related items. SanDisk clarified that this strategic pricing decision is driven by the escalating storage requirements in key areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) applications, data centers, client computing, and mobile devices. The objective is to guarantee a steady supply of high-performance flash memory solutions while also facilitating continued investments in innovation.
