Black Sesame Technologies, widely acclaimed as "China’s inaugural listed enterprise dedicated to intelligent driving chips," recently unveiled its interim financial statement. The report revealed that the company achieved a revenue of 253 million yuan in the first half of the year, marking a 40.4% year-on-year surge. Nevertheless, concealed beneath this revenue upswing lies a drastic decline in the company’s profitability, with persistent and substantial losses. The loss incurred during this period amounted to 762 million yuan, a stark divergence from the 1.1 billion yuan profit generated from fair value adjustments in the corresponding period of the previous year.
