The artificial intelligence firm Reka AI has triumphantly announced the securing of $110 million in funding, bolstered by investors including NVIDIA and Snowflake, thereby catapulting its valuation beyond the billion-dollar threshold. Reka AI specializes in crafting efficient large language models and offers an array of tools, such as interface design and application logic. The company was established in 2022 by former researchers from Google and Meta. Notably, Snowflake had previously entertained the idea of acquiring Reka AI, but both entities concluded that independent growth would be more advantageous, thus foregoing an acquisition agreement. Instead, Snowflake intends to recommend Reka AI's models and associated products to its extensive customer base.
