On October 14, news emerged that Zhiyuan Robotics, leveraging its "Yuansheng Ecological Development Plan," is embarking on its inaugural round of collaborations with over 20 universities across China. The objective is to co-establish an innovative practice platform that fosters the integration of industry and academia in the realm of embodied artificial intelligence. As per the plan, Zhiyuan is set to invest in more than 1,000 embodied AI devices. These include wheeled robots, half-sized and full-sized humanoid robots, as well as quadruped robots. Furthermore, the company will provide corresponding software services to bolster university teaching, research endeavors, and student training programs. The combined worth of the robot units and software subscription benefits offered in this initiative amounts to 200 million yuan. In addition to this, Zhiyuan presents the AIMA development platform, which encompasses the Lingxin Platform, Lingchuang Platform, and Jingling Platform. This suite of platforms equips universities with a dual-track teaching system that seamlessly blends "practical training with genuine hardware and software platform development."
