On October 2, after experiencing a two-month selling spree that wiped out over $1 trillion in market value, NVIDIA's stock price reached a new high since May during today's trading session, with a maximum increase of 2.9%. Recently, optimistic market expectations that AI agents like Meta's Muse will drive growth in semiconductor demand have provided momentum for NVIDIA's stock price rise. Additionally, NVIDIA announced on Monday a record-breaking increase of $150 billion to its share repurchase program, further boosting the stock price. Previously, market sentiment regarding the prospects of AI has been volatile, including doubts about corporate infrastructure spending and potential security risks posed by AI technology. Nevertheless, NVIDIA's stock price has still accumulated an increase of approximately 27% year-to-date, poised to achieve double-digit growth for the fourth consecutive year. Currently, NVIDIA's market value stands at approximately $5.7 trillion, just shy of $300 billion away from becoming the first company to reach a $6 trillion market value.
