On October 2, 2026, OpenAI announced the launch of two shopping features for ChatGPT, available to users worldwide. Based on the ChatGPT Images 2.5 model, the new features allow users to upload selfies or full-body photos to preview how clothing and accessories will look on them. Users can also upload product images or webpage screenshots, enabling ChatGPT to synthesize the products into their photos. A "Try-On" button has been added to the shopping results page, and users can also favorite items for later viewing and comparison.
