The Trump administration has issued an unprecedented order banning all foreign nationals from accessing its technology. In response, Anthropic has shut down access to its advanced AI models, including Mythos. The company stated in a declaration that the U.S. government had requested it to suspend access to the Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models for all foreign nationals, regardless of whether they are within the United States, citing national security concerns. A U.S. official confirmed that the Department of Commerce had sent out relevant letters. Subsequently, Anthropic cut off all clients' access to these two systems to ensure compliance.
