The U.S. government, invoking national security considerations, has mandated that Anthropic restrict access to its most sophisticated AI models for all foreign nationals, encompassing foreign employees within its ranks. Consequently, Anthropic has temporarily revoked access to the Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models for all users, whereas access to its other models remains uninterrupted.
