On the 12th, Elabe, a French polling firm, unveiled a survey entitled "The French and Artificial Intelligence," which disclosed that while 65% of the French population utilizes AI tools, there exists a notable polarization in public sentiment towards AI. Specifically, 54% of the survey participants perceive AI predominantly as a threat, whereas 45% regard it mainly as an opportunity. Furthermore, the survey highlighted significant disparities in AI usage across different demographic groups. A substantial 87% of individuals aged between 18 and 34 employ AI, in stark contrast to merely 54% of those over the age of 50. Similarly, 86% of managers incorporate AI into their routines, compared to 56% of workers. Additionally, 71% of residents in major urban centers use AI, while only 57% of those in rural areas do so.
