According to reports, over the past year, 41% of the downloads of large models on the Hugging Face platform have come from models developed in China. This statistic positions China as one of the most vibrant and rapidly expanding regions globally concerning the supply of open-source large models. Presently, the cumulative global downloads of domestic open-source large models have surpassed 10 billion times.
Furthermore, China stands as the largest holder of global AI patents, accounting for a significant 60% of global patent applications. Currently, the number of AI companies in China has exceeded 6,200. It is projected that by 2025, the core AI industry will scale to over 1.2 trillion yuan.
