On April 19, 2026, Google made an official announcement regarding the release of A2UI version 0.9, a cutting-edge generative user interface (UI) standard meticulously crafted for AI agents. This innovative standard empowers AI agents to dynamically construct UI elements by harnessing component resources from pre-existing applications. This capability facilitates seamless cross-platform interface generation, spanning web, mobile, and various other platforms.

From a technical architecture standpoint, A2UI 0.9 boasts a shared Web core library and an official React renderer. It also offers updated renderer support for mainstream frameworks, including Flutter, Lit, and Angular. The newly introduced Agent SDK supports Python installation, with plans to extend support to Go and Kotlin in subsequent versions. Moreover, the latest iteration introduces client-side custom functions, client-server data synchronization, and an enhanced error-handling mechanism.

At present, the A2UI ecosystem is experiencing rapid expansion, embracing integration solutions such as AG2, A2A 1.0, and json-render, thereby solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the realm of AI-driven UI design.
