Hongguo Short Drama has released a statement, underscoring its unwavering commitment to tackling the unauthorized utilization of AI-generated short drama content. During the initial quarter of this year, the platform has cumulatively purged 1,718 comic dramas that violated regulations. Moreover, a dedicated initiative was launched to specifically target the illicit use of AI short drama materials. This initiative led to the examination of 15,000 works, the resolution of 670 cases involving infringing content, and the exposure of four key categories of violations: unauthorized use of cartoon characters, unauthorized use of AI brand imagery and trademark logos, unauthorized use of game character visuals, and AI-generated content that misappropriates the likenesses of actors. Hongguo Short Drama is set to bolster its review mechanisms and accountability measures to safeguard the rights and interests of copyright owners and right holders, furthering industry governance. The platform also encourages public oversight and reporting.
