On April 6th, the official account of Hongguo Short Drama released an announcement revealing that during the first quarter of this year, the platform has removed a cumulative total of 1,718 web dramas that failed to comply with regulations. In light of the recent surge in violations concerning the utilization of AI-generated materials for short dramas, the platform has initiated a dedicated rectification campaign (Note: Here, "rectification campaign" is used to convey a more comprehensive and proactive approach towards governance, encompassing review, correction, and disciplinary actions as necessary). This campaign has involved a thorough review of 15,000 works, resulting in the identification and handling of 670 non-compliant works in strict accordance with established regulations.
