Alipay launched 'AI Pay', the country's first voice-interactive payment service, in September 2025. Users can complete orders and payments by conversing with an AI agent without navigating through app interfaces. Initially partnered with Luckin Coffee, the service later expanded to the Qianwen App, supporting payments for various daily services such as food delivery, shopping, and ticket booking. Starting from January 2026, AI Pay expanded its application scenarios through the Qianwen App and achieved over 120 million cumulative payments in a single week in February. On February 6, Alibaba's Qianwen App launched the '3 Billion Free Orders for Spring Festival' campaign, where users could claim a 25-yuan free milk tea card and place food delivery orders with a single voice command via 'Alipay AI Pay'. Currently, 'AI Pay' is available in multiple AI scenarios, including Qianwen, Rokid, and Luckin Coffee.
