On February 13, TrendForce released its latest research on the HBM industry, revealing that the demand for GPUs continues to surge amid the expansion of AI infrastructure. Following the commencement of mass production for NVIDIA's Rubin platform, a significant uptick in demand for HBM4 is expected. Presently, the validation process for HBM4 by the three leading memory manufacturers is nearing its end, with completion anticipated in succession during the second quarter of 2026. Notably, Samsung's products have demonstrated superior stability and are projected to be the first to pass validation, closely followed by SK Hynix and Micron. These three manufacturers are likely to collaborate in supplying HBM4 to NVIDIA.
