Recently, the Shenzhen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau unveiled the ‘AI+’ Advanced Manufacturing Action Plan for Shenzhen, spanning from 2026 to 2027. According to the plan, by 2027, in the realm of ‘AI+’ advanced manufacturing, Shenzhen will have established a national AI application pilot base with a focus on consumer mobile terminals, set up an industrial agent innovation center, formed an industrial knowledge alliance, opened up 100 application scenarios, developed 100 vertical industry models and industrial agents, and promoted 100 demonstration applications. This ambitious initiative is designed to forge a development model characterized by ‘one base, one center, one alliance, 100 scenarios, and multiple applications.’ It seeks to propel the upgrading of traditional industries, foster the growth of emerging sectors, and expedite the process of new industrialization.
