On February 11, Doubao App, an AI assistant developed by ByteDance, commenced grayscale testing for its newest video generation model, Seedance 2.0. Users who are part of the test group can navigate to the 'AI Creation' page and select 'Video Generation' to find the 'Seedance 2.0' option. Presently, Doubao App enables the creation of videos lasting either 5 seconds or 10 seconds. In contrast, ByteDance's comprehensive AI creation platform, 'Jimeng,' offers the capability to generate videos ranging from 4 to 15 seconds in length. Seedance 2.0, which was discreetly released on February 7, accommodates four-modal inputs: images, videos, audio, and text. A standout feature of this model is its 'referencing capability,' which facilitates content creation based on pre-existing materials, thereby simplifying the creative process. After trying out Seedance 2.0, Feng Ji, the founder of Game Science, lauded it as "the most powerful on the planet, without a doubt."
