The 'CCF Wang Xuan Award' was instituted in 2005 in honor of Professor Wang Xuan, a distinguished computer scientist. Each year, this accolade is bestowed upon scientists and researchers who have made groundbreaking advancements on the cutting edge of computer science and technology. Moreover, it highlights those whose research has not only been translated into practical applications but has also been successfully commercialized, yielding substantial economic or social impacts. Each year, the award is conferred upon no more than two individuals: one recipient is acknowledged for outstanding academic achievements, while the other is recognized for exceptional technical or engineering contributions. It is important to note that these two categories are distinct and cannot be interchanged.
