At 8:00 PM on October 23, Songyan Power officially initiated the pre-sale of its latest humanoid robot, "Xiaobumi" Bumi, on JD.com. With a limited-time price of 9,998 yuan, this marks the world's first humanoid robot to be priced under the 10,000 yuan threshold. Standing at 94 centimeters tall and weighing around 12 kilograms, the robot boasts 21 degrees of freedom. The officially released version supports multiple functions and allows for secondary development. Within just three hours of the pre-sale's commencement—from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM on October 23—sales soared past 200 units. By 4:00 PM on October 24, pre-orders had exceeded 300 units. The pre-sale offers two variants: the EDU (Education) version and the consumer version, with expected delivery dates set for January and March of the following year, respectively.

Jiang Zheyuan, the founder of Songyan Power, stated that the price reduction of humanoid robots is an inevitable trend in the industry. He referred to "Xiaobumi" as a "quasi-consumer-grade" product, emphasizing its accessibility to a broader market. Songyan Power specializes in developing small-sized humanoid robots. Its "Little Rascal" N2 model, launched in April of this year, secured second place in the Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon.

Founded in 2023, Songyan Power has recently announced the successful completion of its A++ round of financing, raising hundreds of millions of yuan. The company has secured over 2,000 commercial orders in the first half of the year, with a total contract value projected to exceed 100 million yuan. With a growing number of orders from leading manufacturers and enhancements in industrial supply chain capabilities, the prices of humanoid robots are anticipated to continue their downward trajectory.
