36Kr has exclusively learned that after reaching a collaboration in embodied artificial intelligence with Seres, Volcengine, a subsidiary of ByteDance, is working together with Seres to promote the application of the Doubao large model in vehicle infotainment systems, and currently, the project has entered the research and development phase. According to informed sources, the Doubao large model will enable omnidirectional interactive functions such as voice and vision. To this end, ByteDance has not only defined the parameters of the in-car sensors for Seres but also formulated corresponding computing solutions. Seres plans to integrate an independent AI Box into the vehicle as a computing add-on to support the operation of the Doubao large model.
