The Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province has rolled out the "Action Plan for Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to Foster High-Quality Development in Guangdong's Manufacturing Sector (2025-2027)." This plan delineates that for sectors like electronics, machinery, raw materials, and consumer products, industrial firms, platform companies, and data service providers are urged to collaboratively build top-notch, generalized and specialized industry datasets. Furthermore, they are to craft an industrial knowledge repository that encompasses production process parameters, equipment operational data, quality inspection findings, fault diagnosis logs, and supply chain details. These datasets and repositories will be earmarked as pivotal projects and will be accorded targeted assistance. Moreover, the plan backs enterprises in engaging in pilot initiatives for the pioneering advancement of secure data environments, accelerates the establishment of the Guangdong Node of the National Industrial Internet Big Data Center, and delves into the formation of a data resource trading framework for the manufacturing sector.
