Last week, his artificial intelligence venture, xAI, initiated a legal action against OpenAI in the Federal Court for the Northern District of California. The lawsuit accuses OpenAI of orchestrating a systematic and premeditated effort to lure away employees and pilfer trade secrets. Among those allegedly poached are several engineers as well as Mike Liberatore, the former Chief Financial Officer. xAI characterized these actions as part of an "organized theft operation" designed to obtain vital data, including source code. In response, an OpenAI spokesperson refuted the claims, labeling them as the most recent tactic in Musk's persistent campaign of harassment.
