The proceedings are slated to kick off on Monday at the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia, and will center on a range of detrimental behaviors attributed to Google. Earlier, U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema determined that certain digital advertising technologies employed by Google amounted to an illegal monopoly, curbing market competition and undermining the financial interests of online publishers that depend on the system for their earnings.
