The People's Government of Jilin Province has recently released an implementation opinion aimed at accelerating the innovative development of artificial intelligence within the province. This policy document underscores the significance of application-driven growth, emphasizing the need to bolster the supply of computing power, algorithms, and data. It also highlights the implementation of the 'AI Plus' initiative, which is designed to foster the growth of characteristic industries.

According to the plan, by the end of 2027, Jilin Province's intelligent computing power is projected to exceed 5000 PFLOPS (petaflops, a unit of computing speed). Accompanying this milestone will be the establishment of pertinent datasets and the development of large-scale AI models. Additionally, the province aims to create demonstration application scenarios that showcase the practical applications of AI technology. In terms of economic impact, the core industry revenues are expected to reach 40 billion yuan, with aspirations to surpass 100 billion yuan by the end of 2030.
