During today’s Huawei Connect 2025 event, Xu Zhijun, the Rotating Chairman of Huawei, emphasized that super nodes have emerged as the new standard in AI infrastructure development. Presently, more than 300 sets of CloudMatrix 384 super nodes have been deployed, catering to the needs of over 20 clients. Huawei is poised to introduce the Atlas 950 SuperPoD, the world’s most formidable super node, boasting a computing capacity of 8,192 cards. This groundbreaking product is slated for market release in the fourth quarter of this year. Furthermore, the upcoming Atlas 960 SuperPoD, a next-generation offering, will feature a computing capacity of 15,488 cards and is projected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2027.
