On July 1st, SAIC Motor unveiled its production and sales figures for June. During the month, the company sold 365,000 vehicles, marking a 21.6% year-on-year increase. Cumulative sales for the first half of the year totaled 2.053 million vehicles, representing a 12.4% year-on-year growth and achieving a "six-month consecutive increase" in monthly sales. Additionally, cumulative terminal retail deliveries reached 2.207 million vehicles. Among these, 1.304 million vehicles were sold under independent brands, accounting for 63.5% of total sales and marking a 4.6 percentage point increase from the previous year. Sales of new energy vehicles soared by 40.2% year-on-year, totaling 646,000 units. Overseas markets contributed 494,000 vehicle sales, a 1.3% year-on-year increase, indicating a steady recovery trend.
