On May 9, the Transport Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region announced an update to the trial license for autonomous vehicles, in compliance with the Road Traffic (Autonomous Vehicles) Regulations. As a result, Luobo Kuaipao's test area in Hong Kong has been expanded. This decision was fueled by Luobo Kuaipao's consistent and reliable test performance, coupled with its L4-level autonomous driving capabilities demonstrated in North Lantau. The expansion aims to accelerate the development and integration of autonomous vehicles in Hong Kong.
