The Transport Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has recently issued an announcement, stating that in accordance with the Road Traffic (Automated Vehicles) Regulation, it has renewed the trial license for automated vehicles and extended the test area for Luobo Kuaipao's autonomous vehicles in Hong Kong. Since December 2024, Luobo Kuaipao has demonstrated stable performance during road tests conducted on North Lantau Island, achieving the Level 4 standard of highly automated driving. This signifies that under certain conditions, Luobo Kuaipao is capable of continuously executing all dynamic driving tasks and autonomously adopting the lowest risk strategy.
