Hyundai Motor Group intends to integrate Boston Dynamics' Atlas humanoid robots into its new manufacturing facility in Georgia, USA, as part of a $21 billion investment. The deployment aims to enhance automotive production, particularly focusing on achieving an annual output of 300,000 electric and hybrid vehicles through advanced robotic technology. Following the acquisition of Boston Dynamics in 2021, the two companies have collaborated to procure tens of thousands of robotic units and aspire to elevate the annual production capacity in the United States to 1.2 million vehicles.
