Thalys has unveiled its latest sales report, revealing a robust performance in the new energy vehicle market. In April 2025, sales of new energy vehicles totaled 31,488 units, marking a year-on-year increase of 12.99%. However, cumulative sales for the year to date stand at 86,040 units, reflecting a decline of 29.87%. Among these figures, Thalys-branded vehicles led the way with 27,203 units sold in April, up 9.35% from the same period last year. The year-to-date cumulative sales for Thalys-branded vehicles amount to 72,338 units, down 33.60%. Conversely, sales of other models amounted to 4,285 units in April, a year-on-year drop of 29.07%, with cumulative sales for the year totaling 13,702 units, a decrease of 28.61%. Overall, Thalys recorded a total of 35,741 units sold in April, up 5.54% year-on-year, while cumulative sales for the year are at 104,100 units, down 29.66% year-on-year. Notably, the Wenjie M9 model has been a standout performer, with cumulative sales for the year reaching 36,439 units, an impressive 41.19% increase from the previous year.
