Amidst recent fluctuations in orders, Xiaomi's automotive division continues to operate at full production capacity, maintaining a healthy backlog of orders. In the 15th week of 2025, while new orders fell short of 10,000 units, they still performed commendably. Among emerging brands, XPeng, Li Auto, and Leapmotor lead in sales, with Xiaomi historically ranking among the top three. Currently, Xiaomi is facing production capacity challenges, but it remains committed to its expansion plans. Its second factory in Yizhuang, Beijing, is anticipated to commence operations by mid-year, and plans are underway to establish a third or fourth factory in the Tonghang Industrial Park in Wuhan, aiming to support its ambitious target of producing and selling 1 million vehicles by 2026.
