On April 15, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory commenced deliveries of the newly updated Model Y to the domestic market, with international shipments also initiating on April 14. At precisely 13:00 that day, the Panama-flagged roll-on/roll-off vessel "Great Step" arrived at the Shanghai South Port Terminal, poised to load 3,499 Tesla electric vehicles destined for export. Notably, the first batch included 3,015 of the refreshed Model Ys. This new iteration of the Model Y has significantly contributed to a surge in automotive exports from the Shanghai South Port Terminal in April. It is anticipated that the initial batch of updated Model Ys will conclude loading by 23:30 on April 15, setting sail for Port Kembla in Australia.
