Lucid Group has entered into an agreement to acquire the headquarters and electric truck manufacturing facility of Nikola Corporation, which is divesting these assets as part of its bankruptcy protection filing. Under the terms of the agreement, Lucid intends to assume control of Nikola's former headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, along with the manufacturing plant, and will offer employment opportunities to over 300 former Nikola employees. The finalization of this deal remains contingent upon approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.
