CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles has proudly introduced its latest generation of 200 km/h smart intercity electric multiple units (EMUs), which have officially commenced production and are set to serve the Zhengzhou-Kaifeng and Zhengzhou-Xinzheng intercity rail lines. Comprising four carriages, these trains boast rapid acceleration and braking capabilities alongside substantial passenger capacity. Integrated with advanced intelligent features, including 5G connectivity and smart windows, they leverage over 1,500 sensors for comprehensive health management. Their lightweight design and energy-efficient technology contribute to a reduction in energy consumption by over 15%. Upon commencement of operations, the journey time between Zhengzhou East Railway Station and Kaifeng Station will be trimmed to just 25 minutes, fostering enhanced regional integration and development.
