On April 3, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) released data indicating that China's retail market sold 1.889 million passenger vehicles in March, marking a 12% year-on-year increase and a 36% month-on-month surge. Notably, 988,000 of these sales were new energy passenger vehicles, reflecting a 39% year-on-year growth and a 44% month-on-month jump. Since the start of the year, cumulative retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles have reached 2.414 million, signifying a 37% year-on-year increase.
