On April 2, American electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian unveiled its first-quarter production and sales figures, revealing a 36% year-over-year decline in vehicle deliveries to 8,640 units, down from 13,588 in the corresponding period last year. Despite a modest increase in production to 14,611 vehicles, compared to 13,980 in the same quarter of 2022, the company's stock price suffered a pre-market dip of over 4% on the US stock market, reflecting weak demand. The stock ultimately closed at $12.49, marking a 6% decrease for the day.
