According to data released by the Federal Reserve on Tuesday, U.S. manufacturing output experienced a robust growth of 0.9%, marking the largest increase observed in a year. This surge contributed to an overall industrial production rise of 0.7%. The primary catalyst behind this expansion was a notable uptick in auto production, which alleviated market apprehensions regarding potential weaknesses in the manufacturing sector. Additionally, mining production witnessed a 2.8% increase during the period, whereas utility production declined in February. Notably, the industrial production data from the previous month was revised downwards, now showing a more modest 0.3% increase.
