On March 11, a GEELY ZEEKR 7X was involved in a solo vehicle accident on the Qingdao-Yinchuan Expressway, fortunately resulting in no injuries. The incident was attributed to improper driver actions. At the time, only the Lane Centering Control (LCC) function was engaged. When the driver attempted to retrieve their glasses, it inadvertently deactivated the LCC, causing the vehicle to deviate from its lane and sustain scratches. GEELY ZEEKR Service has issued a statement confirming that the accident was not associated with the Navigate on Autopilot (NZP) function and cautioned that legal measures will be taken against any malicious misinterpretations or rumors. The statement also urged vehicle owners to prioritize driving safety.
